Nexus Geo soil stabilisation machinery working on road

Innovation in subgrade stabilization

The Technology

Nexus Geo deploys cutting-edge ground improvement systems engineered for precision, durability, and minimal surface disruption.

Proprietary Technology

Nexus One

The Nexus One System is an advanced two-component soil stabilization technology designed to transform existing native soils into a strong, durable, water-resistant structural layer. Using project-specific application rates determined through onsite soil testing, Nexus One combines Core, a dry mineral-based treatment, with Fusion, a proprietary liquid nanotechnology. Together, the two components modify and stabilize the existing soil, significantly increasing bearing capacity and CBR while reducing permeability, moisture susceptibility, swelling, and long-term deterioration. By improving the soil already in place, Nexus One can eliminate the need for conventional over-excavation and replacement of unsuitable soils, along with aggregate, geogrid, geotextile, and other traditional stabilization materials. The result is a faster, more efficient construction process with substantially fewer truckloads, reduced material handling, and lower long-term maintenance requirements. Nexus One can be used to construct high-performance subgrades for paved roads and pavements or durable, maintenance-free unpaved roads, providing a long-term solution engineered around the conditions of each individual project.

Core

Core is the dry component of the Nexus One system, engineered to react with and modify the existing soil at the microscopic level. When blended into the native material, Core interacts with the soil particles to create a denser, stronger and more stable soil structure with significantly improved load-bearing characteristics.

Rather than removing unsuitable soils and replacing them with imported aggregate, Core allows the existing material to become a structural component of the finished roadway or subgrade. The treatment improves properties such as bearing capacity, compressive strength and dimensional stability, transforming weak or marginal soils into a high-performance engineered foundation.

When combined with Fusion, the liquid component of Nexus One, the complete system provides both the structural improvement and long-term protection required to create a durable, water-resistant stabilized soil layer.

Fusion

Fusion contains nanoparticles that penetrate deeply into the soil matrix, enhancing cohesion and stability. It is designed to react with various soil types, ensuring effective bonding and improved mechanical properties. Fusion contains polymers that form long-chain molecules within the soil. These polymers create a network that binds soil particles together, increasing load-bearing capacity and reducing permeability. The chemical composition of Fusion is designed to react with a wide range of soil minerals. This ensures effective bonding with different soil types, including sandy, clayey, silty, and loamy soils.
